Description

Objective:
This course helps students build coding skills using Minecraft Education and MakeCode, focusing on events, event handlers, coordinates, and variables. Students will develop problem-solving abilities, design interactive projects, and gradually build more complex coding games, fostering creativity and technical proficiency.

Topics Covered:

• Weeks 1-4: Introduction to Minecraft, Events, Event Handlers, and Independent Coding with Events.
• Weeks 5-8: Coordinates and Positioning (Parts 1 & 2).
• Weeks 9-12: Introduction to Variables and Advanced Variables (Parts 1 & 2).
• Weeks 13-16: Independent Projects.

Outcome:
Students will learn foundational coding principles and create custom Minecraft projects, culminating in independent game designs.
